Our Philosophy

Custom framing is an art, and a science.  Finn Hollow believes that selecting framing for your artwork requires a personal touch and technical expertise...working together we will protect, preserve and enhance your treasures.

Our Story

Finn Hollow is all about the art.

full-service custom framing studio

It is also about the personal connection and the individual vision each collector sees for a work of art through its framing. From her state of the art studio on Bainbridge Island, Marcia Adams-Landry provides the personal attention each piece of art and every collector deserves.

With over 20 years of experience working in traditional frame shops, Marcia realized that something was missing…a more individual touch.  A key part of Marcia’s service is devoting time to consultation, whether in person at the studio, in a client’s home or via computer link, to insure that the art is not only framed beautifully but also preserved and protected using today’s best conservation practices.  Framing is a process where the first step is careful listening, educating the client on technical advances and making aesthetic choices while considering the preservation requirements of the artwork.

The range of items that can be framed and re-framed is as vast as the framing options.  Almost anything on paper, canvas or fabric is suitable for framing as well as a grandson’s hand-print in clay, a christening gown, an antique kimono, a commemorative metal, or piece of sporting equipment.

Re-framing a beloved piece of art or family photograph using archival and conservation techniques will protect your cherished pieces.  And that flea market find? It will be perfect in your dining room with a new frame. The possibilities are endless.

In addition to framing, Finn Hollow offers a selection of artwork for sale…many with a “history” attached to them that we are excited to share with you…another way we personalize our art.  We believe that every piece of art  has a statement to make, a story to tell, a history to preserve.
